Orion Docs (VitePress) ​

Minimal README for running and deploying the VitePress documentation site.

Prerequisites ​

  • Node.js 18+ installed; check with node -v.
  • Install netlify cli tool to run dev server. sudo npm i netlify-cli -g

Environment variables ​

  • Create a .env file and add these variables

    VITE_GOOGLE_CLIENT_ID=Redacted
GOOGLE_SECRET=Redacted
JWT_SECRET=Redacted
TOKEN_ENCRYPTION_KEY=Redacted
PIPEDRIVE_API_TOKEN=Redacted

Development ​

powershell
npm start

Build ​

Netlify builds the production when changes pushed to main branch. To build locally,

powershell
npm run build

Preview built site ​

powershell
npm run preview (without private documentations)
# or serve static output
npx http-server .vitepress/dist -p 5000
