Export to JATS XML

XML Export generates JATS from your structured Word documents.

By default, the XML that is produced is valid according to the JATS (Journal Article Tag Suite) DTD (Document Type Definition) version 1.2, and is compliant with the requirements of PubMed Central. Typefi will configure the JATS XML Export to match your current XML.

To export to JATS XML:

1. Navigate to the Output group of the Orion ribbon.
2. From the Export to XML drop-down menu
   
   select Export to JATS. This converts the Word document to XML. The new file is automatically saved with the same file name and an .xml extension.
