Orion plug-in release notes

The Orion plug-in adds the Attach Publication workflow action to Typefi Server. The action attaches a Typefi Orion publication to a Word document, so you don't need to attach it in Typefi Orion for Microsoft Word.

The latest version of the Orion plug-in is 2.0.14, released 4 November 2026.

The new Attach Publication workflow action:

• Attaches the publication and document type you select. The Publication and Document type lists show what's set up in Typefi Orion Compass.
• Replaces or keeps a publication that's already attached, depending on what you select in If publication already attached.
• Records the document's filename, which Cleanup can include in the text that replaces a removed graphic. See Removed graphic text.
• Repairs documents that weren't saved in Word, so you can still attach a publication.
• Explains in the job log why a publication couldn't be attached (for example, the document is password-protected, the file isn't a Word document, or the document type isn't in the publication's list).
